Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Rampart Computers (“Rampart,” “we,” “us”), including the managed IT services we provide as Rampart MSP, collects, uses and protects personal information. It applies to rampartcomputers.com and to information you give us by phone, text message, email, remote support session or in our store at 12920 S Memorial Dr, Bixby, Oklahoma.

Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name, business name, phone number, email address, street address, details about your computers, network and the help you need, and anything you include in a message to us.
• Quote form drafts: our quote form saves what you type as you go, even if you do not press send, so we can follow up if you are interrupted. We use it only to contact you about your request.
• Service information: when we repair, support or manage your equipment, we may see device details, user account names and files as needed to do the work you asked for.
• Website information: your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, the page that sent you to us and any campaign tags in the link (for example, from an online ad).
• Payments: card payments are handled by our payment processor. Our website does not collect or store card numbers.

How we use your information

• To answer your questions and prepare quotes.
• To provide, schedule and support the services you ask for, including on-site, in-store and remote support.
• To send service messages by phone, email and, if you agreed, text message.
• To bill for our services and keep business records.
• To keep our website and systems secure, understand how the site is used and measure our advertising.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we use it only to send the messages described in our SMS Terms, such as replies to your questions, quote follow-up, appointment reminders, repair status and support updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third parties, affiliates or lead generators.

Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as the phone and messaging provider that delivers our texts, is permitted only as needed to send and receive your messages. All other categories of sharing in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, phone and messaging, payment processing, accounting, and the security, backup and remote support tools we use to serve you, and only as needed for them to do that work.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, Rampart or others.
• As part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

The text message limits above apply to every item in this list.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses your browser’s session storage to remember a quote form draft and how you found us during your visit. We may use analytics and advertising tools, such as those from Google, that set cookies to count visits and measure how our ads perform. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information as long as we need it to provide services, keep business records and meet legal obligations, and then delete it or remove what identifies you.

Your choices

• Text messages: reply STOP to any text from us, or ask us by phone or email, and we will stop texting you.
• Email: ask us to stop, and we will stop sending you non-essential email.
• Your information: contact us to ask what we have, to correct it or to ask us to delete it. We may need to confirm who you are, and we may keep records the law requires us to keep.

Children

Our website and services are meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
